Plus Chile looked great themselves. They attacked alot, they were quite creative with their passing and they played some quite nice football at times. It should be an interesting one.

Buy them all. Burn them.

I had my speculations about who would win, but after seeing the past few games, my views have changed completely and I am leaning more towards Germany, but only because they do have the advantage of using that particular ball for ages now. Things will probably change again by next week, so who knows!

Anyone get a look at that Forlan goal for Uruguay just now?

Finally, a genuinely great goal. With any luck, this tournament's starting to liven up now...

Yeah I saw it... It was really great, but I'm not so surprised. (I do feel bad for South Africa though!)

I can see them coming back into this one. Besides Forlan and Suarez (two strikers who are totally incapable of playing well together) Uruguay aren't really a very good side. I can see South Africa really going for it after the break too.

Its a pity that Sth Africa didn`t read this as their performance for a host nation in the second half was just poor, to be fair they just don`t have the quality.

If Forlan and Suarez could play they together they could go a long way in this WC as they are strong in defence, midfield and attack.

Shocking stuff eh. Even before going a man down (fully deserved red card by the way), I think I saw just the one shot on target in the second half. They played so much better against Mexico (who I still think are a better team than Uruguay), so I didn't really see 3-0 coming. Shame they're basically out of the world cup now - it would've been nice to see them at least get to the second round. As you say though, they just plain lack the quality necessary to make a meal of this tournament.
