I wanted Germany to win also. I was quite shocked when Spain won.

At the end of the day. You can't tar them all with one brush. Most of the germans were to scared of the nazi's to do anything about them (i do believe anyway)

I always believed that, a friend of mine went to the war museum in London and told me a totally different side of things. I was always taught in school to believe in one thing, but maybe it was to stop prejudice, I can't say I'm too fussed. It's a long time a go, but the British still have a thing with Germany for the wall. I guess I still have a bit of that, though it's not hatefilled or anything. I bought a German a drink on holiday, he said he wrestled and I was thin, I needed more muscle. Looool, nutjob.

Really looking forward to Sunday. From what I've seen I love the way Spain plays and I've been rooting for Holland since the quarterfinals.
The third place game Saturday looks promising too.

I think it could be too. The pressure is basically off for both sides, so hopefully we won't be in for a particularly cagey, tense game.
Unfortunately, I can see the final turning out that way whoever wins it. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong though. |
