I thought Del Bosque was so pigheaded! But now I think maybe he was concealing the team's real potential, waiting for a big rival.

I heard that Germany's celebrity Octopus (I expect an interview on GMTV in the coming weeks) predicted his beloved team's loss as well. Creepy!

Well done Spain - thoroughly deserved win. I could be wrong, but I think I counted two shots on target over the 90 from Germany, so nice work off the ball to say the least.

Can't wait for the final.

I expected Germany to wipe the floor with Spain considering the way Germany played against Argentina. But....wow.

Total domination by Spain over Germany today. They were patient and their ball control movement was superb. They should've scored a couple more. That first missed header was just a bad play. He corrected that later in the game. I hope the Dutch win, but Spain looks awfully tough.

Spain put on their first really great performance of the tournament. By holding on to the ball in a superb way, they denied the Germans to play the aggressive game that allowed them to win against England and Argentina. Fully deserved, even though I rooted for Germany.
