What is sure is that their players are not fat at all. In fact, they stand out for their good physical condition. I already mentioned in this thread that last year USA reached the final of the Confederations Cup. And Brazil had to sweat blood to win the match. And before that, they won the semi-finals against the European champions. That day I listened to some sports journalists and our players' comments, which could be summarized as: "Damn, those guys seemed to be lions!"

Their weak points are tactics and technique, not physical training.

Spot the difference: USA lost a game and we didn't! We are ranked 76th and you are ranked 14th. We drew to Italy. Nuff' said.

Let me make this real easy, leave your terrible opinions at home or we're sinking your miserable, good-for-a-Hobit-film island into the ocean and we're bringing England with us. And Poland.

Let me guess your plan, you're going to send some fat American's over to do a mass suicide? Because our 'island' will sink if we had 0.01% of your population coming over bahahaha!

Felicidades España

Carlos Puyol played like a lion in the centre of defence.

Congratulations Zaqarbal.
Spain deserved their win by a mile.

That's the first time Germany have played a patient team.
That's also the first time I've seen the Germans fail to play on the break.
Spain passed the ball around for fun and denied the Germans possession.
When they went forward the Spanish defence was deep and just waited for them.
The tactics were spot on.

Should be a great final.

Spain made them look quite ordinary today and should have won by more goals. I`m amazed how they actually managed to stick 4 past Argentina and I still believe if Lampard`s goal had been given, the match against England could have been very different.

All credit though to Germany, who arrived at these finals with once again a very average team but still managed to get to the semis!!!
