I was behind Ghana too in the end. Handling the ball on the line in the last minute is cheating, no matter what way you look at it. I mean, he took one for the team, you can see what hes doing and frankly hes entitled to do it aslong as he gets sent off but its not the most ethical way to decide a game.
Still, Ghana had a penalty to win the game and missed it and then took two awful penalties in the shoot-out so they definitely had their opportunities to win it and couldnt take any of them. Argentina and Germany are about to kick off. This could be so good. It has the potential to be a real classic. |

They really did. Up to and even including the England game, i was thinking Germany may be playing well but would get undone by the bigger sides. Im now thinking that putting 4 goals past the Aussies, us and now the Argies is just too much to still be thinking this way. If they play like that against Spain (providing they get through) then they will beat them and theres no reason they cant win the final.

I was actually pretty scared in the first half. Argentina seemed to be dominating between the 30th-45th minute (not looking at the goal).
Never knew they were such aggressive hooligans. Gabriel Heinze looked like he wanted to murder the ref at one point, same goes for Tevez. The one Argentina player almost pushed the camera-man over in the tunnel. Tut tut.

Finally it seems there isn't a general downfall of the European teams as some sports journalists said. Even if Spain lose against Paraguay tonight, the European football as a whole still keeps a good level. Quote:
