Wednesday would work for me also...I have my usual teams right now on Yahoo! - One based on predraft rankings, and one on the live draft. But I love to have fantasy teams.

I've never understood fantasy football. I enjoy the sport, but I"ve never ever figured out what this pastime is about

in fantasy football you do a draft you get to pick::: qb 2 rb 2 or 3 wr te defense kicker and you just get points depending on how they perform. example, a receiver on your team scores a touchdown. your team gets 6 points. a running back run for 70 yards. you get 7 points, a point for every 10 yards. not for everone but its realy easy to manage unlike other fantasy sports and requires little knowledge to be honest. u just set your lineup before each weeks games and let it play out. yahoo ranks players for you and gives projections for points each week. last yr the 2 biggest idiots in the league were in the championship in my league with friends ((not not me lol)) |

As for why fantasy football is great, I was watching Bengals/Browns games last year with great interest because I had AJ Green and Trent Richardson. I don't give a **** about either team, but fantasy football gets you right into it. |

" Additional Information Joining a renewed league: If you are taking over or renewing a team that was in the league last year, you will receive an email from the league commissioner. You must click on the custom link in that email in order to take ownership of your team. - You must accept the invite sent from the commissioner in order to join the league and take your team over again. You no longer will have the ability to join the league using the league number and password." basically i think exo is gonna have to email invites to everyone. probably easiest to just use the yahoo email with our names. unless he can try to post a direct link to the league here and we can try to enter it that way but that may not work |

Ok I guess no one got what I was saying. I wasn't asking what's fun about it, I was asking how it WORKS.

-people sign up in a league. -you draft a team of real players - there is a league website detailing weekly matchups, win/loss records, and a place for you to alter your weekly lineup -you set your lineup. the games are played each week. you get points for certain good performances (ex 1 point for 10 rushing or receiving yards, 6 points for a td). -end of the week, you have either scored more or less points than the opponent you faced (determined randomly, you play everyone at least once. one opponent per week). so after week 1, you are either 1-0 or 0-1 -standings are updated. you continue playin a new opponent every week. at the end of the real nfl regular season is fantasy playoffs. the top few teams are put in a bracket where the high seed plays the lowest seed. again, someone wins and loses all the way until 2 teams are left and then their matchup is the superbowl |
