hell no that's terrible. never give away an elite player for two mediocre ones. you should be OK picking up QBs from waivers. henne isn't all that great. and I just dropped steve smith from my team, he's too injury prone(i found steve johnson on waivers).

I also go by that same rule of never trading an elite for 2 decent players.
But I don't think Nicks is elite. The best games of this season are behind him and all that matters is what he does here on out. And there are 0 QBs in free agency to pick up. 14 team, competitive league and everyone of any value, at any position, is scooped up on someones bench right now. I don't think I'm gonna do the trade. But I'm going to try to flip Nicks and maybe something else for a QB. Cause i can use Sims-Walker and Harvin at WR. But damn I need a QB bad. |

Well I gotta make sacrifices somewhere to better my team. My draft was terrible, Ryan Matthews doesn't get touches like I expected, Beanie has been hurt, and Dallas Clark went down for the season so I'm not in a very good position. I expected these guys to have good years and I was relying on them to carry the slack for a mediocre QB (McNabb). I gotta do something at QB, and Nicks has the most trade value right now. I think Nicks is awesome and he's gonna finish with good numbers.. But he already has 8TDs in 7 games. It's hard to believe that pace is gonna continue. It's a risk I gotta take I suppose... Sims-Walker isn't ideal, but it's a 14 team league and especially during bye weeks, rosters are pretty scarce. I don't think Sims-walker is the worst option in the world, there's some teams with worse choice as their 2nd Wr/flex poisition. But I don't really know who else I could trade with value to get a pretty decent QB.
Every year I tell myself to reach for a QB in the draft if I have to so I make sure I have a good one... but every draft for some reason I see a RB I really like and end up taking them instead. Last year I had Cutler and I suffered week after week watching him complete passes to the other team in the red zone. |

Looks like ole Charlie whitehurst is gonna get my fantasy team a victory today. Well, not really any of his doing, but Nicks, Turner, Harvin, and the Saints defense each got me around 20 points apiece. I'm up 122-58 and he has Hines and Heath Miller tomorrow and there's no way they get that many points.
So I'll be sitting at 10th out of 14 after this week at 4-5. There's gonna be 7 teams at either 4-5 or 5-4 so next week is gonna be huge, and my opponent's team faces some tough defenses so I am feelin confident. Thank you Whitehurst for your 6.5 points today, you will now be released :P |

You in a league with all bums or what?
My main league right now is the closest I've ever been involved with in fantasy. The top 4 teams are all at 6-3. The next 3 teams are all 5-3. Then the next 5 teams are all 4-5. So 12 of 14 teams have 4,5, or 6 wins. So it's a huge logjam right now and these last few weeks are gonna be huge. This week is one of those that hate because I'm an Atlanta fan and my opponent has Matt Ryan. So please run the ball! What do you think, do I start McNabb at home against Philly or Matt Hasselback against the Cardinals this week |

Just picked up Drew Stanton who will be starting now that Stafford is out for awhile and Shaun Hill is hurt two... Normally I wouldn't pick him up, but the Lions are playing the 0-8 Bills this week and they have an awful defense.
Who to start? McNabb VS Philly Hasselback @ Arizona Stanton @ Buffalo I'm actually leaning towards Stanton right now just because of how terrible that Bills team is. I don't see any of these guys putting up gigantic numbers this week, but Stanton has the best chance to do so I think. |
