...and, of course, now when you start him he'll probably put up 4 points. Rule of the fantasy football gods.

Same dude. Week 1 (I think) I had him benched for his 3TD performance.
I'm sitting in 11th right now out of 14 teams in my main league for $$$. Top 6 hit the playoffs and I'm on a 2 game winning streak so I am feeling better about my team. My draft was just really bad, a lot of picks aren't working out for me. I took Ryan Matthews in the 2nd round and he hasn't done a damn thing and doesn't get TDs... Beanie Wells has been hurt and hasn't done anything either. My team QB McNabb RB Turner RB Matthews WR Nicks WR Harvin WR/RB Beanie Wells/Sims-Walker TE Moaeki Kills me that Dallas Clark went down for the season... I just lucked out and beat the number one team in my league and the number 2 team in back to back weeks to keep my team afloat. This week I have to start Matt Hasselback VS the Giants so I am going to need huge games from a RB or WR. I'm first in my other league. The guys aren't as smart or follow as close, and I have a stacked team. Romo (injured now), Rivers, Steven Jackson, Jones-Drew, Charles, Ronnie Brown, Roddy White, Malcolm Floyd, Garcon, Tony Gonzalez, etc... I should easily win the league, I am killing everyone. |

A tale of a few cities with my teams so far.
My Dynasty team is doiing pretty okay at 6-2, just happen to be in a strong division. Got a hold of Roethy in week 5 via trade, and previously/since Rice/Mendy/White/Nicks/DJax/Jennings have lead the way. My other league is great fun. It's a redraft, but there are no benches. It's called Cutthroat for a reason So if you don't want to take the 0 in a bye week you gotta drop the player and sub in another which generally means that there is a healthy FA bunch. ie atm, Rice, Hillis, the Philly WRs, etc are all on the waiver wire. I held onto White during the bye and copped a loss unfortunately, am only 4-4 because of bye weeks (And Finley's injury). But am fairly set atm, having Rivers, McCoy, Rice, White, AJ, and solid IDPers (Which score as much as O players). |

the averages of my best players combined comes to 111.8 and i'm 3-5. i've never felt this cheated. from a talent perspective i think i have the best team.
P. Rivers #1 QB R. Mendenhall #7 RB L. Tomlinson #8 RB Mojo Drew #13 RB H. Nicks #4 WR J. Maclin #8 WR A. Hernandez #12 TE Titans #1 D/ST S. Janikowski #1 K and on the bench I have roethlisberger and m. floyd(#1WR when he got injured). # signifies fantasy pts standings.

What do you guys think about this trade:
I get: Chad Henne Steve Smith (NYG) I give: Hakeem Nicks I could really use a QB... and I think Nicks is at his peak right now. There's no way he keeps up this pace and scores 16 TDs this season. So I am trying to trade him while I think he value is over-stated. Cause all that matters is what a player does from this point going forward. Good or bad trade? |
