We're talking about running.
If we need to start a "ProggyMan lists sports to try and prove Big3 wrong" we can do that. You let me know.

I used to one hell of a runner back in my prime. When I was about 15, I competed in the Hershey track program that included The U.S. and Canada. I won all gold at regionals, then I went on to state. Cleaned them out there, then they sent me to Hershey, Penn. What an amazing experience! they took us through the chocolate factory, sent us up to the Hershey theme park and put us in these fancy hotels. Rafar Johnson signed my shirt too. I ended up getting 4th at the national track meet in standing long jump. I was pretty happy.
Never been any good since. I don't even do track anymore, especially since our new coach's goal is, not to help us train, but to try and convert us to holy rollin' Christians. Kansas really sucks you guys. But anyway, all of you guys in America or Canada, I highly suggest putting your kid in the Hershey program if they show any promise in the track area. |

I grew out of my running shoes and it took me a while to get new ones, so I needed to start back up again too. I had a hard time getting motivated...but fortunately one day I several hours to kill so..instead of running.. I made a playlist. The song Seven Nation Army (White Stripes) is an excellent running song. The bass line and the drum just make me want to run forever. I was going to run a 5k yesterday, but I slept through it. They're always really early in the morning.
