I play. I have a Smart Parts 2007 Shocker NXT.

How's the X-7 run? I've heard nothing but horror stories about that one.

i like the NXT a lot, it's not nearly as temperamental as the SFT, but i've never really had a fondness for spool valve markers.

i still have a DM4 and i used to have a PMR (easily the lightest marker i've ever held). the PMR was a great gun but it was just too hard on gas for me to use all the time. the ejected low-pressure chamber got kind of annoying in close encounters too.

still got my pride and joy though, a Gen4 Intimidator that i've put all sorts of upgrades into. i was looking at getting it anodized but i couldn't decide what color i wanted it and the $200 price tag kind of steered me away from putting it out of warranty.

Nice, I've never met anyone who actually owned a Timmy, heard nothing but good out of them.
As far as the annodizing, I was going to hit my NXT with a gold dusting, but apparently that makes it illegal in tourney play since golds and yellow are ref specific colors.
That, and the price tag is quite scary haha.

My brother's into it more than I am, but I do go paintballing with him sometimes.
WE went to this one prefessional paintball field, and I have a scar to prove it.

I don't have any gear, but I used to rent when we played speedball.

I personally like woodsball more because the strategy is more in depth, but it can be agonizingly slow. But if I got into it again, I'd gear up for woodsball.

backyard pickup games with friends can be fun, but for the most part woodsball tournaments are awful and horribly slow, just a bunch of idiots running around.

hyperball and indoor venues are enormously fun though, bit of a shame they get so expensive.
