Cory's road to MMA.
Okay so today from 5-8PM I have to go do conditioning for this years boxing. I'm pretty excited. It's going to be killer.
After about a year or so of boxing I'm going to go do some martial arts and maybe a diffrent kick boxing class. After this I am going to enroll in my town MMA league. I'm going to keep this thread to update everyone on this road to MMA. Also, I need some suggestions on: Workouts. Diets. Health supplements. I quit smoking, so this should help a bit. I run about 4 miles a day and skate alot. I can lift 350 pounds with my legs (which is'nt much) my goal is to be able to lift 600 pounds. Conditioniong today will consist of: 250+ push ups. 250+ sit ups. Dead lifting. Bench pressing. Running. Jumping. The plank. ( O.O ) Sparing. Speed bag. And hitting the hard bag. I'm pretty stoked about this. :thumb: |
best of luck then

Hopefully I will get through it. There is going to be lots of sweat, blood and tears.
(Less tears because I'm a MAN!) lol. |

Diets - a very balanced diet (this is truly how a diet is always supposed to be) Health Supplements - WTF? how old are you 80?, the only reason anyone should ever take these is if, they Need to take them, and cory i'm pretty sure there's a long line between your want and need for these. |
Health supplements help build muscle. It's like vitamins, or protein shakes.

A ton of carbs and proteins.
You can make your own shakes with oats, peanut butter, protein powder, fruit, milk, etc. |
Hows the workout? You sticking to it?
