Default Mike Vick (American Football Player.)

So I hear some rumors floating around about this guy. For those who don't know who he is, he is the football player who got in trouble for dog fighting.

The things i have heard are that he is out of prison now. He has to do 30 days on house arrest. (Basically stuck in your house for 30 days where your not allowed to leave and they put a gps on your leg to find where you are at all times.)

After this house arrest he will be working for a construction company for 10 dollars an hour. (Not to mention 2 years ago this guy was making million a year.)

He will also be working to reach out against dog fighting.

After all of this he is going to try to re-apply for the NFL. Rumor has it that the Cleveland Browns are going to take him. That is'nt really saying anything because the Cleveland Browns would take ANYBODY they just want to win atleast 1 game.

What are your guys and gals thoughts on Mike Vick going back into the football league? Do you think he should be allowed?

I think that he has done his time in prison. He is now doing house arrest. So when all of this gets over with he did his time. So i think since he did do his time and got out of prison on good behavior he should be able to go throw around some footballs.

football? at least the american version. the one with an oval ball that gets thrown around and refrigerator sized guys try to stop a skinny dude from running across a field.

that's why he's famous and why his association with dog fighting / dead dog disposal got so much media attention.

He served his time (most of it), hasn't started a fuss and hasn't insulted anyone...he seems really apologetic even though I know he really isn't. Let him back

I totaly agree. He is doing his construction job. Which is amazing that he is even attempting because it will pay him $10.00 /hr and he was makign millions a year. Also, he served his time in prison and got out on good behavior. All of this by the way does not PARDON what he did, but it does make it look a bit better.

P.S.

What kind of press do you think this guy is going to get when he is out working on the construction job?

Ha, where are you from, the South Shore?

I never know what the hell people are thinking with these moral issues. We have prison in this country as a repayment of the social debt you've incured for ****ing up.

The issue people always yammer about is that "these guys are role models" and "what will the children will think?"

1. The problem is that these guys are role models. We shouldn't be working to uphold that.

2. Children screw up far too many things. I bet more lives are ruined because of Children than God, or Satan combined.

3. As previously stated by Mr. Dave, he didn't screw up in Football, and it was only a story because he was a football player. If I start a dog fighting business, no ones going to care when I get arrested except the readers of Dog Fancy.

Question: Wasn't he only a financer, and didn't really engage in the fighting? Thats what I recall anyway.

I heard that he had dogs that were in bad health and he had a fighting pit on his property that was stainded with blood.
