I think there may be "morals clauses" in some contracts and if someone breaches their contract by getting convicted of a felony and/or brings negative attention to the sport they can be released.

Michael Vick?...the worst kind of sociopath.
Anyone chicken**** enough to purposely hurt and torture animals shouldn't walk the streets. Too ****ed up in the head to trust with other humans.
