I watching the Steelers per-season game the other night and they interveiwed Mike Tomlin they asked him if considered picking up Michael Vick, he said they were friends but said no, he didn't complicate things since his own quarter-back had his own troubles.

Michael Vick is signed to the Philadelphia Eagles, with a one year contract. He is to work with animal rights organizations as part of his rehabilitation.

Michael Vick To me personally, is a DECENT football player, I feel like Miami's Pat White is MUCH better than Vick. Pat White really impressed me during his Senior Bowl Performance. I think in a like a year or so with the Phin's he will be much better than Henne or Pennington.

Michael Vick can run with the football but to me, he is like a Darren McFadden always at QB.

Welp, Vick is back in the NFL.. and was putting up MVP type numbers before his injury. He's coming back this week I think, I am pretty excited to see what he does. I became an Atlanta fan when they drafted Vick and always rooted for him. He was always an under rated QB in Atlanta... Everybody was in awe of his skills but he never got credit for being as good as he was because he didn't fit a specific mold for a QB. If Vick would have had better coaching that allowed him to utilize his strengths, he would have been an absolute monster. Instead, Vick got criticized for running too much, and his coaches tried forcing him into a pocket passed, which made no sense at all. As his passing numbers improved, his team got worse. He took Atlanta to the NFC Championship and lost to Philly, and those ATL teams he were on were not very talented at all.

With the whole dog fighting thing... What he did was wrong. I find animal cruelty disgusting, but you have to understand that everyone has different upbringings and cultures. He definitely knew it was wrong, but you become desensitized to the horror of some things because of the situations you are brought up in. He served his time, paid his dues, and I have no problems with Vick now. I root for him every weekend that he plays.

If I had anything to do with it he wouldn't be allowed to play anymore.

I was pretty embarrassed to call myself an Eagles fan the day they signed him. I really wish Roger Goodell had not let him back into the league even though he is making the Eagles a Super Bowl contender this year.

I know the Mike Vick story is always talked about and stuff, but what he is doing this year is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen in sports. How do you go to prison for 2 years, then come back and even better quarterback? 15TDs and zero turnovers right now. Are you kidding me? That is insane numbers. I can understand lifting in prison and maybe coming back and being great another position, but QUARTERBACK??? He is just playing lights out football right now and it's unbelievable. Eagles murdered the Redskins on Monday night, I haven't seen a massacre like tha tin primetime TV in a long time. This week they got the Giants, this should be a great game.
