I won a tourny we had in the Navy...200 bucks! Im more of a defensive player though which isnt good when yo get into higher skill levels. Instead of spikes I like to use cuts.

@Thrice : I am a total opposite of you then. I play very aggresively what is not really good in situations when I need to stay calm and just to spin very much in defence

We have an incredibly old and warped table that you have to squeeze past to get upstairs.
I'd hesitate to say I'm good, but as far as bumblies go I can hold my own. Generally I'm more of a defensive player. Also, I never play backhand shots, I just twist my forehand around. It's less awkward than it sounds and I can't break the habbit. |

My backhand slams usually go long. And I can't get much force behind them. My brother takes his finger off off the upper handle for backhands and gets so much power but i just cant do it. My slams are almost always forehand but I'm good at it. Do you use a pretty heavily padded paddle? Or those thin wooden ones?
