I bought some new grip tape for my deck. This summer, I plan on buying a backup deck, one of those Powell M-logo things for 50 bucks. I don't want to be without a skateboard.

Yeah, but blanks are hard to find around here. The nearest skate shop (it's more like a skate fashion place with some decks and gear in the back) is retarded and overpriced.

^Ordering stuff from the net is usually simpler than going to the store. Or at least, you usually spend even less energy doing it.

Default I agree, matey

Skateboards: Huge Selection of Skateboard Decks | Blackhole Boards is the best, they only charged me 9.80 to ship my g&s straight to my house. you go the board builder and you can preview your skateboard before you buy it. RAD!

My fav brands:

Shoes: When it comes to shoes I'm a pretty big Vans fanyboy but Ive also enjoyed skating Emerica
Decks: Ive mostly skated flip, but Bakers are good and I think the next board I get will be a Plan B

Default Skateboarding; as follows,

Thanks, I tell everyone I know about it. Being a geezer, it's easier to shop if you don't have a teenager trying to sell you elbow pads. LOL Yeah I do vert in Tony Hawk, too old and too fat. A mellow 6% grade at sunset and carve my Dog Town all the way to the beach. MMMMMMM skateboarding, it does a soul good.

I picked up my first long board last week to help get around town since some ******* decided it'd be a good idea to drink a 2/6 of brandy, get behind the wheel of his Mercedes and drive in to the back end of my Jeep. Luckily I wasn't hurt, however he wasn't either so I'm kinda bummed about that. So far I'm enjoying long boarding though.
