I have a couple of boards.
I use my Element Helium BAM as a vert board, and then I have a shop deck, a Speed Demon, that I use for street.
I'm not too good, though. I can manual for about fifteen seconds without any trouble, that's about the best I can do though.
My favorite skating shoes are the ones I currently have, Emerica Reynald's 3's.
I hate DC's for skating purposes, they're too big.

I used to skate when I was a teenager. I can't remember what brands I used to skate, although I remember my first proper expensive board was a flip. You couldn't buy them in a store here, so we ordered everything from USA .. Pop Shove it was my signature trick.

It's a great sport! Capitalism surely has it's claws in.

You mean you're only 16? I never would have guessed.

I thought skateboarding was dead until I moved West. Most towns have a skatepark out here. You see skaters everywhere on college campuses- even if they aren't doing tricks or anything, it's nice to see it as an acceptable form of transportation.

I haven't skated in ages but I've been thinking of buying a new board this year. It would be a blast to get back into but I ****ed my back up pretty bad as a kid. I just might risk it.
