I have pretty solid legs from years of sports, but I'm only lifting for aesthetics and not any type of sports training or strength. Should I start adding in some leg workout? What say you?
Even for the reasons you claimed, I'd recommend working your legs because:

1) Stronger lower body = stronger upper body. Take the bench press as an example; you'll be able to lift more if you've your feet planted as opposed to just sticking straight out.

2) Larger, stronger leg/lower body will raise your resting metabolic rate.

3) Aesthetically, it's important. You'll look weird as hell at the beach if you don't, and - besides - girls don't just focus on the upper body.
