When I came back from Germany after living there for almost 3 years, I wanted to turn around and go back.

You should've. I don't think I could live with the anxiety of not having medical insurance coverage in the U.S.

Thankfully my company pays for a good health insurance. Just in the past few months I racked up about 5k$ in medical costs, only had 250$ deductible and that's only because I spent 3 days in the hospital. Otherwise there is no copay. Not sure how much they're paying for it but I doubt it's 500$ per month.

Anyway, good and affordable healthcare should be the basic goal of any developed society. I just can't believe that some people have a problem with that.

Went running last night... too painful for my knees

ran still some but walked most the time around the park.

Lifting some weights here but not as much as I wanted, but I am doing a lot today because it's my last day here in Iowa.
