Alright it is currently March 6. Starting the countdown to when you throw out your back.

I mean you don't ever adopt sensible, responsible exercise regimes, you just go until you hurt yourself for short term endorphin rushes so I'm comfortable in my shade throwing.

I got over my exercise slump! I have stopped going to the gym though because it was boring me to tears.

Since last Sept, I've been doing light workouts every single morning. I think I may have skipped 2 or 3 days here and there because of circumstances, but I've been really dedicated to it. I started with low reps last year, but lately my routine has been this:

(Alternating weekly)

Mon - 40 Jumping Jacks, 30 Push-Ups
Tues - 40 Jumping Jacks, 10 Bicep Curls, 8 Military Press, 6 Tricep Curls, 6 Lateral Press's (25 lb. dumbbells each hand)
Wed - 40 Jumping Jacks, 30 Push-Ups
Thu - 40 Jumping Jacks, 10 Bicep Curls, 8 Military Press, 6 Tricep Curls, 6 Lateral Press's (25 lb. dumbbells each hand)
Fri - 40 Jumping Jacks, 30 Push-Ups
Sat - 40 Jumping Jacks
Sun - 40 Jumping Jacks

It gets the capillaries stretched out and flowing and I've gained a bit of distance on my disc golf drives. Not too bad for a 55 year old fart.

That's dedication Plank. I'm still walking most nights. I decided to join one of those online gyms with a friend.

I'm not lifting as heavy, but I'm progressing. I have no sports going on this summer. I thought it would be a good time to get started on the workouts.

Yessir. It's mainly for keeping tone and stave off atrophy. I was lifting for bulk a few years back and it all but ruined my disc golf game from throwing off my muscle memory. You can't have that if you're constantly ripping your muscles apart.

Speaking of, I'll be moving a mile or two from one of my favorite disc golf courses, so I'm looking forward to getting out there almost daily since it has some great elevation changes. Thats my leg workout. lol Can't skip leg day.

Disc golf eh? I took my kids to a park that had a course built in. It took me time to figure out what it was.

I started walking after a few months of pandemic lock down crap. It was a way for me to get some air, and to be by myself. My wife bought me a weighted vest to wear when I walk. It goes up to 40lbs.

I agree with leg day. You do NOT SKIP LEG DAY.

Well, I used to do 5 days a week down the gym. Two 40 minute workouts each day, morning and evening. Starting on the bikes, then a full upper-body workout. Only using 15-20 kilo weights - I didn't like to get too big.

Then I got lazy :p: Need to start working on this again as soon as I can, really.

You're not one of those people that only works out their upper body are you? Or are the bikes the lower body workout?
