Nothing wrong with working out legs with a rest day in between but the sore back seems weird to me.
Sure, the lower back is stressed quite a bit with back squats but soreness after low weight/high reps? Bit weird. If you are having trouble with keeping the back stable you might want to learn to brace properly if you haven't already. Usually more important with higher weight but useful and at some point necessary anyway.

Be careful and allow yourself some rest Mindy!
Soreness is part of it of course (one time my legs were so sore someone carried me down some steps like a princess) but if there's one thing I've learned from the few months when a friend dragged me along to the gym, it's that you gotta be very careful with your back and it's really useful to be supervised by someone who's experienced if you're new to it.

You have to give your muscles time to heal. You're hurting from the contractions/ripping of the muscle tissue when you over exert them so you gotta let them heal and fill in the rips before doing it again. Allowing your body to heal after a workout is part of the process. Be patient.

His **** being clickbaity and gimmicky is obvious and not necessarily a huge issue, if you can see past it and ignore the worst of it but I think this focus on everything killing your gains, hundreds of unnecessary curls variations and working out abs all the time distracts one from building a proper, focused workout routine. He's also not science based and not a strength coach. His advice isn't always the worst but some of it is really not good and at times dangerous, like the infamous advice to breathe out before squats. Also the whole fake weights thing, while not invalidating everything he says, makes him even less trustworthy. If I had to recommend just one channel it'd be Renaissance Periodization. The amount of quality, in-depth information they put out is ****ing ridiculous. Other good channels in no particular order are Jeff Nippard, Sean Nalewanyj, Geoffrey Verity Schofield, Mountaindog, Alec Enkiri, Alan Thrall.
