I'll go days without eating when I feel bad about my body. I've got a long, boring history of disordered eating habits. The notions of "intuitive eating" and "listening to your body" are very foreign ideas to me. So like, I'm trying to fix decades of self abuse in the easiest and cheapest way possible. And preferably in any way that doesn't involve running. |

I love running. Or I did when I did it regularly. Something about running all your stress off clears your mind. There is a certain point where it does start to get enjoyable and less like working out. I got to a point where it was an adrenaline rush whenever I went out for a run. Always felt really good afterwards.

I used to run a lot too. Too many injuries in my left leg make it a little difficult now though, so I bike as much as I can. Less impact on the old bones and the scenery changes quicker.

Why don't you just walk? You don't have to run or buy
anything fancy. Just walk for 30 minutes at a moderate pace every day och and work your way up. Go on your breaks or after work. If you want to be social, invite a friend. If not, just put on some good music. Make it a routine. That's really all you have to do. |
