I love my bike, it doesn't feel like cardio at all

I don't have rain gear though so I'm not doing much riding lately

Cant wait to start my new job (next week!) and bike to work for those wellness incentives

It depends what your fitness goals are. You're not going to burn fat by doing intervals the same way you would with cardio...not even close. It could however potentially lead to increases in your aerobic power among other things that will make running or other endurance activities much easier.

Make cardio fun and play a team sport. Soccer is one of the safest.

Being serious BTW.

For some that's not a team sport.

I prefer multiple short sets alone throughout the day.

I want a bit of both I suppose. I'm mostly in it for shedding lbs., but I'm also trying to improve my overall cardiovascular health.

For sure, I used to play a lot of softball, basketball and volleyball. I have some old ankle and knee injuries however that have made me skittish. My preferred method of exercise is hiking but I've found that works better for weight maintenance than loss.

Have you considered eating less?
