I think that if you have enough equipment and weights to get a super pumped upper body, you have everything you need to work out your lower body (lunges, squats, deadlifts).

But anyway, very very strange behavior.

You'd need a squat rack to do squats, you can get a good upper body with just a set of dumbbells.

But those are nowhere near as good as using a squat rack. And tbf you did say squats not dumbbell squats.

There's the old adage: "Curls for the girls"

Meaning that men assume that women like big arms, so they focus only on that. Or maybe they're just stupid.

I bought a few flanels last year and theyre baggy as hell in the body and tight in the arms/shoulders. Everyone of them have ripped elbows on both sides from bending my arms. Big arms suck.

Lost 11 pounds in the last two weeks.
Always amazed how fast this happens with me.
Didn't even exercise particularly hard or do cardio, just a bit of weight-lifting.
A change of diet is obviously the biggest factor.
Not sure how to continue with that. I kinda wanted to relive the glory days of having a six pack, my girlfriend said she doesn't like that and prefers to have what little fat I have for kneading and cuddling purposes.
I don't let her dictate my looks (and she's not aiming to) but a six pack is hard to achieve and maintain, so I might just let her convince me otherwise.

Yeah if you're over 20 I'd say a 6-pack requires either serious dietary dedication (and restrictions) or intense aerobic exercise...I imagine.

Also, you're European, why are you using pounds?

grindy 10-27-2018 01:19 AM

I'm 31 and you're right. I'm in good shape but it's very hard to get rid of this last little bit of fat there and really have definition.

And I use pounds because most people here are american. **** non-SI units, obviously.

does cardio ever not feel like death

is the whole point of it just a mind/matter situation?

would doing sets of short sprints be adequate rather than trying to jog for miles? help me I hate it
