Camera technology hasn't advanced to the point where it can zoom out far enough to get his whole arm in the pic now.

There's some promising technology being developed for documenting certain moms.

Here is a good film about juicing. This guy did it for 30 days, changed his life Fat Sick and Nearly Dead | a Joe Cross Film He's got a great website too : ttps://www.rebootwithjoe.com/rebooting-and-juicing-with-diabetes/ It isn't hard to just live off of juice but most people don't because they think it is. The only thing is you can't blend in fruits and stuff; this is pure, raw vegetable juice. Make it yourself with a juice machine. I personally don't really follow the recipies but just put in veggies that work for example beets, spinich, lettuce, zucchini , etc. No fruit/extra salt/added sugar. (I don't personally straight juice atm. Only during the day. And eat in the evening.) |
Do you have any scientific research?

Here is a form of juicing from a study (essentially same thing but with some calories added to it.) Strikt diet gav friska värden vid diabetes typ 2 | Läkemedelsvärlden There are also many books about it."Healing Diabetes: The Gerson Way" being one of them. But I reccomend that "Fat, sick, nearly dead". Good documentary. The other one is not bad and Woody Harrelson is in it (and that guy is an extreme advocate of plant based/ raw food diets). I am sure that there are many studies also saying how it doesn't work at all and the best thing is some pill combined with insulin and a balanced diet (with some splurging of course because you can always just up your insulin when you want that carrot cake). No change, just accepting the fact and continuing to put more and more money into the diabetes industry. It is insane how much you people in the US pay for insulin. It seems like some people have to choose between paying their electric bill or buying insulin...and it should not be a choice that someone has to make. But essentially juicing is just a extreme low calorie control diet that works with your body's ability to heal itself. Some people put fruits in but, if you want to advoid the sugar and control your sugar intake, then you don't put them in. I remember reading once that, in the 1800s, diabetes 2 was pretty rare..maybe like 4% max of the population. Nowadays, it seems like every other person has diabetes 2 or know someone who has it. I do agree that people are killing themselves through their eating and that diabetes 2 is reversable but it requires usually a drastic diet/excercise change on that persons part. |
So how many people here who work out on a regular basis watch their diet? If you do, how do you watch your diet?
I have to say that after many many many years of working out and not seeing much results, in the last year or so I've decided to go totally beserk with my protein intake and actually start taking the recommended amount of protein (about 2grams per kg of bodyweight I belive) and I've started to see some results. I was taking weight gainers and started to gain weight finally. Unfortunately, it turned out a lot of that weight was fat so now I'm on a diet to lose it. I just don't know if I'll ever be bothered enough to actually investigate how many macros I have to ingest daily and then weigh my food and be really precise about it. Right now I'm just kind of winging it and hoping for the best. :/ |
