Anyone have any experience with Bodyweight training, I'm going to go from physical weights, they give good results, but it's such a hassle. All you need is your body, and there are excercies for pretty much every muscle group, I just want to make sure I don't f myself up.

...yeah, I don't think I'm there yet, that guy could snap me in half.

Those guys are incredible.

How do they do legs though?

Work out your adductor and abductor muscles for your thighs/hips. Strengthening these muscles will help reduce the chance of knee injury and increase stability. Exercising these muscles will also strengthen your glutes. Most gyms have a seperate machine for each of these exercises.

Another good exercise is dumbbell wood chops. It works your thighs, glutes, and abdominals, plus - because all you need is a single dumbbell - it's a pretty easy exercise to knock out at home. If you've got balance issues you can just do these with bodyweight, as long as you're doing the chopping motion you'll be strengthening the balancing muscles.

Hope this helps.

I joined my local gym. Well, it's a bit further than a few of the close ones, but it's far cheaper. It's just $25 a month with a student discount. There was no joining fee and it's $25 for however many months you want to be there. I'm using a beginner's treadmill workout for my cardio, since I know I need cardio to burn fat, and I'm looking into a few different routines for weight training. Last time I was there I was doing this 5x5 regimen I found. Good god. I'm definitely feeling it today.

I've been changing everything around, so I finally settled on this, since it's long term and it's all nice and structured. No thinking involved.

I love the Biggest Loser. It's a serious problem; I've downloaded all the seasons.

Anyways, all that to get to the "last chance workout". I do some form of cardio 5 days a week, with weight training about 3 days a weeks in conjunction with this workout courtesy of the biggest loser and this chick's blog.

I did it this morning and I am dead right now.

I really like CrossFit routines. Really short routines, but they will kick your ass.

Anyone ever tried Tribulus? I've wanted to for a while but I'm a young man so it might be pointless.
