1. I think Cal bounced back reasonably well from their awful performance against Oregon, they were just outmanned.
2. Auburn is for real.
3. Next year is Boise State's year for a legit title run, barring every other team in the country losing two games they have no shot. But next year they return twenty starters and have two OOC games against what should be very good teams from BCS conferences (Va. Tech and Oregon State).
4. Miami and Oklahoma are both not very good.
5. The Big Ten is awful. See Iowa barely beating Arkansas State a week after crushing PSU. OSU looks to be trending up though (So long as they get rid of Pryor).
6. The SEC has two top 10 teams this year, the Tide and the Gators. But they might just be the top two squads in the country.
7. BSU is lucky they got Oregon week 1.
8. Notre Dame is looking at 9-3 with losses to USC and...Stanford.
9. The only legit team in the MWC this year is TCU.
10. Texas isn't that good. I think they lose two game in the regular season.
11. The Big 12 is probably tied with the Pac-10 for second best conference.
12. Virginia Tech and the ACC as a whole are frauds. Isn't that the Duke team that lost to Richmond?
13. LSU is gonna prove a lot of people, in a bad way.

I did not know Boise State plays Virginia Tech next year. Virtual home game for Virginia Tech, last time BSU went on the road versus a major opponent it didn't wind up too well for them (stomped by Georgia between the hedges). That should be a great game though. My major beef with the non-BCS teams is that they don't schedule anybody pre-conference (and I know the argument about it being a lose-lose for a major conference team, but that's obviously being proven false), it's good to see teams like BYU and BSU trying to buck that trend. If you want to be able to say you deserve to play for a title, you have to play some solid teams outside of your conference.

VT was bound for a let down game...and the score to that game was much closer than it actually was. In fact we got the passing game together a bit which is a positive moving forward. When you play Alabama, NU, and Miami in 3 out of 4 before hand and head down to Durham it's going to be a let down [especially with a young team].

We lose virtually nothing next year as long as Worilds stays...Boise will be in big trouble. Last time we played in DC we had USC on the ropes til a completely horrible phantom offensive pass interference call. Carroll called it the loudest environment he's ever been in. We're loud when we fit 65,000 in at Lane. When we go 100,000+, we'll be giving Boise nightmares.

Proggy you are way too high on the Pac-10. That's soft football all the way around outside of SC.

Something tells me you haven't seen UCLA, Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington play.

I think Alabama and Florida are the best teams in the country. Hopefully they run the table and meet in the SEC championship AND BCS Title game. This would require no other team but them to run the table either(save boise/tcu). We'll see.

Nah, USC gets in against the loser if they win out.

Why? USC's schedule would be twice as difficult as Florida's.
