I liked the first season until I realized how lame it was. I remember thinking that it's trying to be prestige cable TV but is just kind of a soap opera.

I will admit the first season wasn't great. But many of the subsequent seasons were. The 'Cult' arc in which the main antagonist takes inspiration from Trump to influence his rag-tag crew of ne'er do-wells was great. And 'Freak Show' was great too (which is why I brought it up, it was a season centered on a circus group).

And so begins another season of NFL football with tonight’s Texans-Chiefs matchup at Arrowhead. It’ll be different with the 20% capacity crowd but I don’t expect it to change performances very much. But the Patrick Mahomes-Tyreek Hill-Travis Kielce tandem will undoubtedly maintain that spark against the Texans pass defense. The run game is more of a question. DeSean Watson may not have Cooks tonight so unless Randall Cobb is stepping up (a distinct possibility) it might be more of a run game for the Texans. Good matchup for the inaugural game of the season, in any case. I’m almost psyched. 8:20pm (EST) start.

That’s a gathering of almost 20,000 people.

A super spreading act of mass murder.

**** the NFL. This game alone is a greater act of terrorism on the American people than 9/11 and the participants should be held to the same consequences as was applied to Al-Qaeda.

with cases rising in the state of Missouri and in Kansas City, which has seen its test-positivity rate hit higher than 9% as of the end of August, there is still cause for worrying about triggering super-spreader events, according to Dr. Peña.

“It's hard to believe that with opening up the season, even in a limited capacity as they're planning to do, that we're not going to see an uptick in cases and it would be tragic,” she said. “So I would have to say I disagree with that decision.”

While new daily coronavirus cases have been trending lower recently, the U.S. has still recorded more than 6.1 million cases and more than 187,000 deaths due to COVID-19, according to the Johns Hopkins University data.
It’s unbelievable. All my NFL stuff is going into the trash.

I'm watching bro. Big Chiefs fan here. The loss against the Pats in the AFC Championship Game was a heartbreak to me. I was betting everyone that year that they'd go all the way. Thankfully, last season, they did.

P.S. **** Dee Ford. And the Chiefs run game has shown up tonight!
