That was one of the greatest defensive performances I've ever seen. They dominated every single play the entire game.
I don't think Peyton should be ashamed. The offensive line and coordinator should be ashamed. That was pathetic. "Let's just call crossing routes all game". Chris Carter is eating crow right now because those WRs are legit. They aren't number one receivers, but more like a bunch of number twos that will hit you in the face while they catch touchdowns. The real Superbowl was two weeks ago. This was just a coming out party for the NFC West. See you next year Seattle. You have earned your party. That was damn impressive. |

I recorded about two hours of the PANDEMONIUM that was downtown Seattle last night, working on a DVD then I will YouTube some of it.
What a night, it's been 37 years (1977 Portland Trailblazers) since I've seen anything like it. Made Mardi Gras proud. I'm off work Wednesday so I'll record the Parade. I recognize it means more to me than anyone else here. |

I was also under the impression that a lot of the offensive play calling is done by Manning. With that being said the safety was not on him, nor was the putrid defense or the fumble by the receiver(forget who it was). I think Decker is not a worthy receiver to be on the field for every snap. Shame it wasn't a better game. Realistically, who do you guys think can compete with Seattle next year? |

very dominant performance literally from the first play of the gm.
what an incredible defense. pete carroll is really revolutionizin the defensive gm and im not sayin that as a spur of the moment type thing, ive said it all yr. huge corners who are extremely physical with a cover 3 hybrid scheme. scary thing is seatlle doesnt have to pay anyone for a few more yrs and are the youngest team in the league peyton didnt play well but the entire team was just outmatched and outplayed in every facet of the gm. pressure in peytons face all game and denver couldnt get many big defensive stops. wilson was good but it was really just the defense settin them up in great field position time n time again. i really still never doubted denver until the harvin kick return cause ive seen peyton come back before. but seatlle just kept pouring it on . what an insane defense. |

This town was so starved for a title. As for myself, being so close so many times only to come up short (Trailblazers in 1990, 1991, 1992, 2000, Mariners in 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, Seahawks in 2005, Oregon Ducks in 2011) this was especially sweet and a long time coming.

I just feel bad for the rest of the NFC West.
The Cardinals were legitimately a really solid team last season and were a hell of a lot better than several of the teams that got into the playoffs (Bengals, Chargers, Colts, Packers honestly), but they were kept out because of their vicious division. The Rams also showed signs of being a really scary team near the end of the season, and they didn't even have their starting quarterback. I honestly think all four teams in that division have a shot at being .500 or better. This just a few years removed from a 7-9 team winning the division. Amazing what a few years can do for a team in the NFL, unless you're the Buffalo Bills.

Congrats to the hawks. Im a Broncos fan but clearly the way better team won. Not sure why Denver did not show up. Seemed like there was a preparation issue or something as they are a better team than we saw yesterday. I think Denver could have beat the niners (-:
