That was one of the biggest ass-kickings of all-time by the Seattle defense. They executed to perfection.

Obviously I was pulling for Seattle. But either way, I'm glad about the outcome so I don't have to listen to bull**** sports commentators blow one another about how ****ing great Manning is.

Are you freaking kidding me!? Did not expect that many points, but holy crap. Last time I predicted a winner early in the season was the the 1992 Cowboys. I banked this one!

Seattle is just too good at forcing those short passes, and then making the play. Their corners are so physical that you can't get separation, and Sherman pretty much shuts down his side of the field. Honestly, I've seen Seattle do this so many times (They averaged 50 point for about a month I think last year) that I'm really not that surprised, I'm just a little surprised that they were able to do what they did against Denver's offense.
Really great formula for success though, their defense keeps them in almost any game, and their offense is built around ball control, and Wilson is just so efficient, so they can capitalize on a lot of the turnovers they force. They force mistakes and don't make them, so they win. Wouldn't be surprised if they repeated in '15, but that NFC West is tough. |
