just from my personal experience of course my facebook blew up with posts about sherman. the vast majority of ppl hatin were niners fans (as they should), but mainly men who never played competitive sports even just through out high school, and women
also hilarious example of media sensationalizin every single thing..... belichik made a comment about welker which if u heard the comment, wasnt realyl a big deal.... and i hear mark schwartz of espn (who i will always hate cause hes a hypicrite to the nth degree for the way he covered the penn state scandal' with his lead-in to his segment sayin "and Bill threw a BOMB at Wes Welker with his comments after the game". lol it wasnt like that at all. any pats fan whinin about that play needs a dose of reality but lol @ espn for the way they cover things |

^ I've known all along that Sherman had a very positive side to his personality and not just his undeniably great play at the cornerback position. Had he gone on a rant about how Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin and Russell Wilson and so on were being dissed in the media and what do you think of us now, I'd have been cool with that.
You're right about how ANY team would love to have him. He is loved here. I respect everything about him except for the selfish rants after the game. |

There have been names attached to the games moct memorable plays, such as "the catch" or "the drive" or "the strip" and so forth. There have been 3 names for the Sherman play, "immaculate deflection", "the tip", and my absolute favorite, "the Tip of the Kap".
With all respect for my 49er loving friends |

Hahaha, yeah, Cincy pretty much fell on their face.
Defense (especially with a power running game) usually trumps offense, as great as PM is I think Seattle wins in a game reminiscent of Bills/Giants, minus the "wide right" element. |

Ok I'm listening to a Russell Wilson press conference, and he's fielding question after question...about Richard Sherman. He's handling it with all the poise and dignity you would expect, once you've learned to expect it.
