I honestly can't believe someone could think that handshake thing was genuine. Give your head a shake, DJ lol.
And the source for Crabtree saying something about him in the offseason was from Sherman's brother. The only other time I've seen Crabtree reference him was this: Quote:
At the end of the day though, I don't really have a problem with any of this. As bush-league as I find some of the things Sherman does, trash-talk is part of the game. And it could very well be what motivates Sherman. However, now he seems to be trying to justify his actions as if he's being made out to be a victim, which is nuts to me. |

Right now I'm listening to a Pete Carroll news conference, he's being asked over and over about Sherman. He's saying that Sherman is Sherman, that he's emotional and unfiltered, but that his actions were detrimental to the team and he asked him to reel himself in going forward and to always keep the good of the team first.
As for any perceived "good will" gesture, that doesn't hold water since the game wasn't over yet, there was still time on the clock. Had he slapped him on the butt AFTER time had been run out it could be considered a good will gesture, happening at the end of that play he could only be rubbing it in his face. BTW, Carrol is STILL fielding questions about Sherman. Last edited by Paul Smeenus; 01-20-2014 at 05:44 PM. |

I don't get what the hypes about. He wasn't screaming at Andrews. Its nothing you wouldn't see any other interview.
But because he's black, and she's a white woman, the ****ing hero complex kicks in. dumb.

We have no idea what was said on the field between Sherman and Crab. The whole offseason "Crabtree tried to fight my brother at a charity event" screams BS. The quote from Crabtree saying "He doesn't know anything about the best corner" is what Sherman was referring to in his rant. He specifically said that during one of his post game interviews. We have no idea how much Crabtree was talking during the game. However, the whole country knows exactly how much trash Sherman was talking AFTER the game, which was a lot. I'll refer to this image to end my point on how Sherman behaved after one of the best plays of the season... |
