You can say all you want that Kaep sucked the first ten games but there was some pretty determining circumstances to cause that. You just flat out said he's a bad passer like we're talking about Geno Smith. Also, how many qb sweeps and designed scrambles have you seen? They're barely running those.
kaep is 32nd or worse in yards per game and completion percentage. i mean he is a bad passer theres no way gettin around that. he doesnt throw the picks that some of the other guys do but hes one of the worst passers in the league this yr. and every team has their problems with injuries or whatever, san fran isnt the only team dealin with stuff so i give kaep little excuses. hes barely even scramblin anymore and thats prob his best asset to his game

I'm not arguing how bad the passing game but your statement is that Kaep is a bad passer. I'm saying that bad stats don't mean he'd a bad passer. His passer rating is an 87 right now. If it was below 70 I'd agree with you but to say he's a bad passer cause our entire passing game is in flux right now is silly. You have to look at the game footage man not his fantasy stats.

No, Kaepernick is not a bad passer. He's been near the middle of the pack with his #1 receiver hurt all year. He isn't Aaron Rodgers or anything, but he's looking like a QB you can build around for a while.

i admittedly watch less niners game than you but i havent seen much great passin by kaep this season aside from one of the first games where boldin had that huge game. i know their offense isnt really built to be a huge pass happy offense but where do you wanna draw the line for bad passers?? prett ymuch every quarterback in the league is above a 70 rating besides geno. at best he is somewhere in the clogged middle of the pack of passers, his real value is his legs and he doesnt seem to be runnin as much lately. ya said yourself he doesnt have more than 1 read right now and hes been in the league for a few yrs. til he gets the progression reads figured out i dont think san fran is gonna be a super bowl caliber team. that sounds silly since last yr they went to the superbowl but last yr defenses were confused with the read option stuff goin on around the league. this yr its obvious coaches figured it out in the offseason and squashed/contained a lot of it.

gore doesnt have a whole lot left in the tank, im a little more skeptical of san fran goin forward the next few yrs than a lot of others seems to be

You're out of your mind if you think passing yards equate being a good quarterback. I mean Alex Smith threw five touchdowns today so I guess he's elite now right?

You literally said in your previous post "check the stats". Alex has great stats this year but I'd put a lot of guys ahead of him as a passer. Did you know that Chad Pennington has the best all time completion percentage? Smith and Pennington are good quarterbacks but what I'm implying is that you judge whether a QB is good or bad by watching him play not by reading his stats.

youve been implyin that ive said stats are all that matters and then you implied that i think 1 big game or somethin makes a qb 'elite'.

stats do matter. part of the reason they exist is for comparison purposes. nobody can physically watch every game. when ya used to pickup the newspaper on monday mornina nd check the sports section, youd see the key stats to the game. reason bein, those stats are an indicator of how well someone played. nobody has ever said stats are the entre story but it seems like you want to ignore them since it's convenient for you as a niners fan since kaep's rankings are all average at best and bottom of the league at worst.

your homerism is showin too much here and its fine cause fandom in general isnt based off of logic or reasonin and is more just off of emotion or whatever. thats not a snarky response, thats just thr truth of it, ppl blindly hate other players and disrespect their talents all the time cause of the teams they play for.. but anyways ok, so youre tellin me stats dont matter, then also earlier youre sayin kaep has 1 read then runs.... ok, so what exactly makes him a good passer?? a 1 read QB in the nfl who doesnt have impressive stats.... must be an awful lot youre seein out there that others are missin
