I love how Kaepernick is actually utilizing Crabtree now. The guy is way too talented and reliable to not be getting targeted over 10 times a game.

So, who's going to be the starting QB for the Jets next year? They may stick with Sanchez for another year due to how much money they have invested in him, but I don't know how they could justify that. Tebow definitely isn't the answer either.

I think it would be funny if they went after Vick seeing as how much they love drama. You'd have to think that's a pretty big long shot though.

Ultimately though, I think Alex Smith would be the best option. Just get someone in there that can be reliable and not turn the ball over every play. They're in no position to win now, but having some sense of reliability at the QB position couldn't hurt.

Without getting too into the hype that's surrounding Kaep, I think his play is way better than just some "veteran".
I do realise that it was wet out there during that game. QB's deal with those conditions all year long, but its no excuse imo, and if he was the starting QB for Dallas I would say the same thing. Would you prefer Kaepersnatch? Just dont like the dude and really have no compelling reason why other than he snaked his way into the starting position. Yes I know it wasn't his decision, and he doesn't make the rules but I dont care. Maybe after some time I'll come around, but at the moment I'm just not sold on him. I do like the niners though and actually pull for them even though I'm a Cowboys fan. I like Crabtree and Moss and Davis. They're a well built well coached team, I just refuse to anoint Kaepcrack to be the chosen one just now. Who knows maybe he'll win the Super Bowl with a fourth quarter drive with only minutes remaing in all pro QB fashion. As of right now I'm not impressed and will reamin unimpressed until I'm shown something actually impressive.

You don't think throwing four touchdown passes in December against the patriots on the road while it's raining is impressive? Do you realize that the Patriots haven't been defeated at home in December since 2002? Do you realize it was KaepERNICK's 5th career start? Do you realize that Kaepernick has the highest QBR rating through his first five starts than anybody else since 2008? Do you realize that he has not one, but two 50 yard touchdown runs this season? Do you realize he has a standard quarterback rating of 104?

I'm all for having opinions on football players but at least realize what you're talking about.

I had no idea his stats were that outstanding. I think Blooz has a thing for Alex Smith or something, honestly Smith hasn't impressed me since he was running the spread in Utah, dude is a monumental bust, so comparatively Kaepernick has been a real pleasant surprise for 9er's fans.

Run on sentence of the year. LOL

I'm hoping this is a joke due to that aol article that came out. I'm pretty sure it is. If it is not then let me say that his tattoos are of bible verses.

I love and miss Alex Smith. I've been a fan of his for a long time. I'd be happy to argue the "bust" point you made but I don't want too if it's just going to be me. To put it bluntly...I don't think Alex is any where near a bust and that for the past two years he's been one of the better quarterbacks in the league. I have my reasons.
