Default College Vs. Pro Sports?

I personally am not a huge fan of college sports, but everyone in my office loves them and despises professional. Just wanting a take on other peoples opinions.

College is better, but not by much. I like the atmoshphere in college athletics, and really these kids are playing for their scholarships and what not. But i am a big fan of professional sports as well. Other than the NBA, i cannot watch it i just get the feeling that no one cares.

It a lot of sports I prefer pro. But in the case of the NBA, it looks like a men's league compared to Collegiate Basketball.

I agree with the size and what not of the players, but the excitment and effort put forward by the players is so much more. NBA i feel like nobody really cares on the court. They show up and leave, no passion.

College football is way better than NFL. You get to see players who love the game, instead of loving money. Each team has deep rooted traditions and rivalries.

NBA is better than college basketball though. NCAA has like 8 million teams, 25 divisions, and is basically high school basketball with better jersies.

You must not be an actual basketball fan. Because if you watch the different between NCAA and the NBA, the NBA is a disgrace. It looks like a couple guys scrimmaging. In College, these kids are fighting. This is for a lot of them their last step before the highest level of basketball they've been dreaming about their whole lives. They bust their asses to say the least.

I'm not a basketball fan per say, but I do watch it. NCAA is the minors. Anyone can make the team, seriously, anyone. NBA has real athletes who can play the game and dominate. I see NCAA as more of a team sport. Let's work together and score some lay-ups and not hurt anyone's feelings. NBA is much more entertaining as well. Guys like Iverson and Artest are disgraces to the sport, but for every disgrace there is a dozen Steve Nash's or Tim Duncan's who bust their ass for the love of the game.

That is what I like about it too. I also like watching underdogs advance well into the NCAA tournament. I get tired of the two-on-two, dump it down to the big man or kick it out for the three while the other six players stand around on the other side of the floor. The thing I like best about the NBA is that when both teams get hot it can be more fun to see the talent do what it does best - score from all over the court.

NFL and college football are a draw for me and MLB over college baseball by a lot.

"We talkin' about practice." Allen Iverson
"Well, we make a lot of money but we spend a lot too." Patrick Ewing

Im just gonna have to agree to disagree cause I feel really strongly against what you've said. Not anyone can make the teams in NCAA. The NCAA, is the NBA of Post secondary basketball. As for the not hurt anyone's feelings...thats more the NBA. College kids love the sport so much and they would love to embarrass all the teams they come across. Im gonna leave my argument there because I dont want this to be us arguing about our opinions. If you like the NBA more, Godspeed.
