Super Bowl XLII - New England Patriots vs. New York Giants

Who are you rooting for? Who's your pick?

I'm glad my Giants made it... I'm pumped up for the game! We're going to have everybody over and have a Super Bowl Party.

As long as Brady continues to suck and Eli continues to own, I think this game is ours!

MURDER JUNKIE 01-26-2008 08:12 AM

If Tom Brady as much as shows up the Giants are finished

djchameleon 01-26-2008 09:48 AM

Tom Brady can mess up as much as he wants and the Pats will still beat the Giants

TheDonald 01-27-2008 12:51 PM

I'm going to love to see Tom Brady get his ass handed to him on Sunday. The Giants defensive is going to tear him apart. If he plays anything like he did in the conference championship game, his ass is grass.

ProggyMan 01-27-2008 01:01 PM

It's hilarious seeing how you Giants fans think you have a hope. The Pats have the top O line in the NFL, and Brady's have one game which was close to being bad all season. Really think he'll have two in a row against a secondary starring R.W. McQuarters, or however you spell his name? Chargers pass rush>Giants Pass Rush

ProggyMan 01-28-2008 11:35 AM

No one else has predictions.

he used to play for the 49er's

you probably have his posters all over your room, right by your Alex Smith posters. My prediction is it will be the biggest upset in Super Bowl history, if Giants win. Even bigger than the Jets beating the Colts in '69. Think about it, Patriots going for the best season in football history vs. Giants. If you'd told a Giants fan before the season they were going to the superbowl, they would have laughed at you.
Pats-27, Giants-17

ProggyMan 01-28-2008 11:54 AM

I'm a St. Louis man, Rams fan born and bred.

Laces Out Dan! 01-28-2008 12:21 PM

I cant stand the Giants minus Plaxico.
Tom Coughlin is a bitch ass trick.

Giants Definetly have more than a hope, i dont think they will win. I would bet on the Pats to win outright take the points though. And secondly Chargers Pass Rush < Giants Pass Rush. Osi and Strahan. Igor and Jacques Merriman tooo, but there is a reason Giants lead league in sacks having 11 more than than the chargers.

ProggyMan 01-28-2008 03:31 PM

Uh yah, it's called having a crappy defensive coach. The Giants blitz way more than the Chargers. But the Chargers d-line showed how good they were in the AFC championship game.

Nosmada 01-28-2008 07:41 PM

But isent Blitz a kind of pass rush. A coach is apart of the team too and factors in in the teams offence and defence so Giants Pass Rush> Chargers Pass Rush, Chargers are a take away time. I did not make a prediction before so i will now 28-20 New England

ProggyMan 01-28-2008 08:03 PM

Chargers: Less pressure, more interceptions, less big plays.
Giants: More pressure, less interceptions, more big plays.
It's true pressure can cause interceptions, but there's a balance.

I agree with, that but i think an interception is a big play, when cromartie( i am not sure if that is spelt right) is picking that ball of he is an exciting player. His cousin could be a sleeper coming from tennesse state this year. So whats your prediction ProggyMan.

ProggyMan 01-28-2008 08:17 PM

Pats 28-17. I meant big plays for the offense.

ProggyMan 02-03-2008 03:55 PM

Hopefully my Rams will be given their lost superbowl back. But I doubt it.

I dont know maybe the pats prediction is right, but with giants i think if they win one of these two guys who have stepped up on defence, Mittchell or Tuck just might take it. 100!!! posts

[MERIT] 02-03-2008 07:39 PM

I agree that Justin Tuck deserves it, but they will almost certainly oblige Manning with the honor.

Nosmada 02-03-2008 07:40 PM

Well if he drives them down to win this he deserves it fully, so lets see.

[MERIT] 02-03-2008 07:45 PM

Damn you Bostonian sons of b*tches, I've got money riding on this. Head out of your ass Eli, head out of your ass!

I would of been a long kick(tieing his carrear long), but ya maybe.

ProggyMan 02-03-2008 08:08 PM

What? I'm talking about the chip shot they passed up in the first half.

Nosmada 02-03-2008 08:10 PM

I am thinking of the one where they went for it on forth down that would off been about a 52 yrd feild goal.

[MERIT] 02-03-2008 08:20 PM

Manning won MVP, I called it.

Gates_of_Iscariot 02-03-2008 08:25 PM

Umm i think that if i had to choose i would of picked justin tuck, but the pick of manning was not really wrong at all he had one amazing 4th, two touchdown drives, capping it off with a superbowl winnig drive which how many quater backs have done in history, not to many.
