Ugh, the Padres had a good start to the season. But are trailing off quite fast. Lost 7 of last 8 and is like 3rd worst in the league.

You know, I'm not much of a sports fan and I'm not even a Philadelphia native but I happened to catch the Phillies decimation of Cincinnatti the other night (23-1 I think) and it was pretty incredible. According to the post-game people, the last time the Phillies won a game by that much was in the 1800s. Crazy shit.
Of course I think the Reds came back and beat them the next night but not by nearly as much. |

I have money riding on my picks, which were:
Yankees Angels Phillies Cardinals Yankees Phillies Phillies - WS Champ Was getting really excited as the Phillies looked primed to go into the series rested, with Lee starting Game 1. Now with the Angels win forcing the series back to NY, and then the postponed game I'm worried that the layoff will be too long. In the past the long hangover has not always been a good thing.
