I haven't read anything about that and it would seem maybe an excessive or exaggerated amount of money, but he donated his Queens club money to the hospital and/or charity that helped to treat his friends cancer, so it could well be true.

So Nadal beat Djokovic in another epic match in Montreal to advance to yet another Masters final, where he took out Milos Raonic (the hometown favorite). 25 Masters he has now, pretty crazy. And his fourth this year. But the reason I'm really posting: Federer vs. Nadal tomorrow/later today in Cincinnati! I think it'll be a bit more entertaining than their last match, since Federer doesn't seem to be struggling with his back anymore. I really want Nadal to win and Murray to beat Berdych so they can finally clash again

I like that Serena got her revenge and I wish I had watched the match.

So Federer won a title in Dubai this week, beating world no. 2 Novak Djokovic in the semifinals on his way. Looks like 2014 is gonna be a better year for him.
And at the same time across the Atlantic, the player nicknamed Baby Federer (Dimitrov) won the title in Acapulco, beating my fav player Andy Murray on the way and playing one of the points of the year: That being said, I get to see John McEnroe, Ivan Lendl, Pat Cash, and Jimmy Connors on the 12th in Nashville! Can't wait.

Thoroughly deserved win for Nadal. He eased past Murray and Djokovic was definitely second best today. He was unplayable.
Nine French Open titles in ten years. That is a hell of an achievement. It speaks for itself. You don't need to follow the sport or know anything about it to be able to see that. |
