Watching Sidney Crosby for ten minutes is more worthwhile than watching the Habs' entire fucking season. Next to the 95-96 Devils they might play one of the most boring styles of hockey imaginable.

Obviously someone has never watched a Minnesota Wild game (prior to this season)... but what's with all the MTL hate anyway? They're barely an NHL team IMO, their D corps is essentially Subban and Georges + 4 random dudes and I honestly wouldn't want a single forward from that squad on my team. They need a rebuild, a la the Edmonton Oilers.

They simply care too much about hockey. Until they learn that there are more valuable things in life than winning the first round of playoffs against an awful eighth-seeded team (a la 2008 riots), I'm going to cheer against them every single year.

Add to the fact that the fans are complete shitheads. They turn on their players like no other city in the world. Look at what happened to Patrick Roy, and he's arguably the best French Canadien goalie (if not best goalie hands-down) to play the sport. I've been critical of Pittsburgh fans that turn on our great players (Jagr being one of them), but at least we had the decency to give him a standing O when he hit his last career milestone, despite being a Ranger at the time.

They're just awful, awful people.

That is why.

Lol well in my eyes there's no way that you could ever care too much about hockey, but I pretty much agree with everything else you've said. Some Habs fans are some of the most ridiculous people I've ever met, and when it comes down to it their quickness to condemn their players is idiotic.
