After both of those 7 games series, this one should be incredible. I am highly excited about it.

I am predicting Boston and Vancouver in finals.

Weird game last night. I thought Boston controlled the play for 18 and a half minutes of the first last night, but that gong show of a minute and a half lost the game for them.

I have to say that Julien is absolutely clueless when it comes to handling young talent. His grudge against Seguin is just bizarre. He scores a sick goalwith 5 minutes left in the first and then only sees the ice for less than 2 minutes until the third period. Gets another assist in the third and still only sees under 10 minutes of total ice time in the game. And not only that, but he didn't even see 1 second of powerlay time despite the B's being on the PP for 8 minutes. Not like your team is 9/107 since he got here...

RIP Derek Boogard. We used to see a lot of him in all his years with the Wild. Really unfortunate to see him pass at such an early age. Still waiting for autopsy results to finalize.

So sad about Boogard.

Ben Eager- disgraceful game, I hope he is SCRATCHED for a while. There was no discipline.

My one officiating complaint: the Sharks were high sticked twice in the first period - both times drawing blood, one of which right in front of a ref! - and there were no calls. That's 8 minutes of potential PP time that wound up even strength, where the Sharks have been flat out dominated during.

Outside of that- the Canucks fully dominated and deserved the win. Hope we can right the ship back home, or else this is shaping up to be a repeat performance of the '10 WCF.

Agreed. Eager was a douche.

Just glad to see Vancouver get the game and get closer to the finals, where they have not been for 17 years now... just hope it doesn't turn out like that series again.

A Gordie Howe hat trick is always good as well.

Series doesn't start till somebody loses a home game. I expect the Sharks to come out with the kitchen sink game 3. I figured Vancouver to win this series, but i'd like to see the sharks put up a fight. Game 1 could have gone either way.

What a show Seguin put on. 7 shifts in the second, 2 goals, 2 assists. I'm angry at Julien for coddling him though. How can you give a 3 points per game player 11 minutes a game?

With BErgeron likely back, Tampa just doesn't have enough to take Boston. They've been unbelievably luck so far, and I expect that luck to run out sooner or later.
