Islanders-Penguins the past two games have been entertaining. First we were gifted with a goalie fight where we saw Brent Johnson make DiPietro crumble like the piece of paper he is with one punch... then in a retaliatory effort the Isles targetted Johnson and Talbot last night to the tune of 15 fighting majors, 20 misconducts, 65 total penalties, and 346 PIM!

Good old time hockey. The only part of friday night that wasnt acceptable is Martin trying to throw a sucker. That play looked almost identical to Bertuzzi's just a few years ago. The only difference was that Martin didnt actually connect. Everything else however, love it.

Yeah gents, hockey has been unreal as of late. I caught the Sabres OT win a few nights ago in Florida, amazing! I love the Florida games because there are always more Buffalo fans.

and yeah, that Martin guy is such a punk.

I'm so pissed that I missed the Red wings/bruins game this past weekend. My wings won so it's all gravy but I actually wanted to watch the game.

yeah but I haven't watch a game this season period, I keep missing them for some odd reason and I only watch games that involve my team.

After tonight's games, the Pacific Division points totals are 69, 68, 68, 68, and 65. Four of those teams are in a playoff spot, and the one who is out (L.A.) is only 1 point back of Calgary with 3 games at hand. It's conceivable that back-to-back losses could send a team from third to tenth in the conference. Unreal year, tons of parity. Would love to see San Jose as the 3 seed, with all five Pacific teams in.

That would be wild. Sabres making a run.

We're playing right now with only just one opening day Dman left. Hamhuis, Bieksa, Ballard, Edler, and Alberts all out. Salo came back at a very opportune time, and Tanev has done more than hold his weight since being called up. The late season collapse of our blue line is nothing new as a canucks fan...hopefully we heal up well before playoffs. Cause this is our year !!!
