The only names I remember from 2003 were Vanek, who is our leading goal scorer, but lazy as hell, and Clark Macarthur, who we just traded this year, and Nathan Paetsch for an even more worthless Raffi Torres. I think that was the year we drafted the 6' 6"Tom Morrow ha ha. Which led me to think about last years draft, in which we took the Tylers, Myers, and Ennis from SJ. Two great picks.

I hate to jump off the bandwagon because the Canucks have lost two games in a row... but it's like fuc*ing deja vu right now. Last night's game was just pathetic and they're starting to get frustrated and they do not play well when they're frustrated. They've gotta pull their sh*t together tomorrow night if they want to make it past this series.

Nah, they just can't handle Patty Kane, or Byfuglien for that matter.

Mainly it seems to be the drop-off between the players. Richards, Giroux, Briere, Pronger etc. are all playing their asses off to make up for the loss of Lappy, Gagne and Carter but then beyond that it's like everyone else forgot how to play hockey, and it's pretty disgusting.

Straight up. And now you are enjoying Bernier's services instead.

By the way, I had to shave my playoff beard today for job interviews coming up... I shave right before game time, and the Sharks are embarrassed. Coincidence? I think not. Red Wings in 7.

Bernier has been a solid 3rd line winger for us. I hoped he would mold into a better presence in front of the net, but he does alright and has enough grit to be a legit energy player.

Thats so crazy! I had to shave mine around game 3 of the Sabres series for an interview I had.

Look, I'm not saying I want him dead, I'm just saying I wouldn't mind if Recchi were to be stabbed in the parking lot of the WC.
