They lost to the Leafs in a shootout, 2-1. Kessel scored for the Leafs in the first period, Clarkson scored for the Devils in the second (and he was probably the best player on the ice tonight for either team).

Normally I'm so sick of hearing this, but they have earned it, and are about to earn it again...

The Sharks are gearing up for their annual disappointment. Same plot as years past. Really slumping going into the postseason. They are currently getting absolutely outclassed by the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE- Edmonton Oilers- 5 to nothing and counting. The only question is who it is going to be this time... I've got my money on a healthy Detroit knocking us out, but Calgary could slip in there too.

As if it's not an embarrassing enough loss, add insult to injury with Stortini winning his second bout of the night (this time Murray, previously Staubitz).

It was. Its especially fun heading to games in not big hockey towns. As they usually result in a Buffalo takeover, as the majority of the fans were for Buffalo. There might have numerically been more Panther fans, but you wouldn't tell by the deafening sound of Sabres cheer and chants. Its always nice when you get a 2 goal lead with a few minutes left and wave to the home team fans leaving their own arena, leaving it filled with tons of drunken and ecstatic Buffalo fans.

Went to the Nucks-Calgary game last night. Unreal game. Hank with 4 points to seal the Art Ross and the all time single season scoring record for the franchise. Daniel's "Malik" goal was fuckin insane too.

yeah, but a horrible way to end the season: missing the playoffs by one point. and losing to Philadelphia. ugh. not a good day.
