The goaltending issue is gonna be compelling. Too see how many starts Gustavsson gets behind Toskala and if Toskala can pull his weight. The guys gotta be nervous about getting shipped out at the deadline if he doesn't play well or aswell as Jonas.

Nucks are 2 and 0 in pre season so far. Reaally lookin foward to hopefully seein Shirikov suit up this year. He'd be a reaal good third liner and good on the second like PP. I love the pre season though..so many young kids, and old AHL vets fighting for a spot. I think theres been 5 tussles in each game so far.

2 first round picks and a second round pick. Im kinda shocked Burke picked up Kessell, I know there were a lot of rumors and all...but damn. He doesnt play Burke style hockey.

Why didn't they just sign Kessell to an offer sheet? Would have given up a lot less- since Boston is in no situation to match...

hes a goal scorer, im sure Burke doesnt mind getting him.
he does have some grit too.
