Fuckin great game tonight against Jib's boys. Kip couldnt have robbed us anymore in the 3rd I swear. When he's hot, he's hot. Lucky enough for us, Bieksa ripped one into the back of the net and we took it to OT and took the SO win.

Mats Sundin's first return to Toronto, and who really cares? I want to hand it to Toronto just the same as I've wanted to in every other game.

I want this to be a game where the RPM line shines again. Even more than just to see Mats with his old team is the fact I want Kessy to stay as hot as he's been lately.

As long as Antropov doesn't mess you up. He's had a great season and it looks like Toronto are still putting him up on the market for the trade deadline. What I wouldn't give to see him come to the Pens...we've been hungering for a big man to hold himself in the paint since we lost Malone last season.

We couldn't have won the game in much better fashion then how it ended tonight. Sundin, SO winner.

CHRIS KUNITZ!
Not exactly Antropov but definitely a step up for the Pens. I guess Anaheim's rearranging their roster (getting rid of Pronger?). This definitely gives us a boost of momentum, (S)hitney was a liability and we were hungering for more depth on our offensive attack. The Habs and NYR are on their way out of playoff contention, we're just building steam. This could work out after all.

Buenos dias everyone.. i've awakened and found a NHL thread on music banter, my question is this,is "slap shot"
the best hockey movie ever? never being a fan of the sport but always knew a goon or too i've wondered, is it still widely considered as the all time best by the hockey fans? miracle, was good. or mystery alaska, i loved, how 'bout it? I live in a part of San Diego that feels so far removed from an ice rink that i bet i i couldn't even ice skate, we have an outdoor rink in downtown too. Both of my cousins who played hockey live near us and we see them at holidays, we're from Minnesota, N.W. of the cities as a family and i rebelled by refusing to watch the northstars growing up.... i miss my Dad now, I'd watch all the Northstar games if i had the chance. All the Dallas Stars games too.... he hated that they left. It didn't kill him, but it never helped him live either. So now that i'm off topic, what do you think? Do the Chiefs of the federal league still get the nod? If not what movie does?

The serious rumors going around right now are that Gaborik is gonna be a canuck by trade deadline. He's been saying he wants to be traded to vancouver for a long time. However, Regardless if we get him by wednesday or if we wait until the end of the season I dont care. He'll be injured until basically the start of playoffs anyways. But after watching Gaborik tear us up over the years, I wouldnt mind seeing him in the blue and the green

So glad that we signed an extension with Burrows prior to the game tonight. We've got him locked up for 4 years. Soooo stoked. He didnt disapoint tonight either by finding the back of the net twice.

Gotta be. The Hanson brothers are timeless. Paul Newman RIP.
You really think they'd trade Gaborik within the division? I don't think that rumor holds much water. The scary thing, is that Pronger will likely be a Bruin before the deadline. Chara AND Pronger both on the stingiest team. Damn damn damn.
