Another question, Portland has a fantastic arena (Moda Center) that would seat 17k for NHL. I went to a Dub game there in the cheapest seats available ($18) and it was so comfortable I could've moved in.
The uppermost seats are closed off for WHL I admit that I don't know what the sections that is closed for WHL would be like for NHL, but it seems to me that if they fill that venue for NBA, including the seats closed for WHL, I don't see why the Blazers and an NHL team wouldn't be viable in Portland right now. Thoughts? |

^I tried to watch the whole thing last night, but old man mode kicked in and I dozed off. Woke up to see Kaner score that DOT goal on the news this morning. Pretty sweet. The Blues are probably THEE toughest team in hockey right now, so if we can stay alive and squeak by them, we have a real good chance at winning the cup.

^ (Plankton) I donno man. From what I've seen the Hawks haven't looked that good. The Blues are very good but I don't know if Chicago has the resources to go far (I mean jesus they essentially use 4 D).
I've also really been impressed with the Sharks. They look like killers, and oh my god their PP is unreal. Besides them sitting back in the third last game, they look very impressive against an obviously great kings team. Really hoping they pull through here, I really want Thornton to get a cup so everyone can stop pretending he hasn't been a top 3 talent over the past decade and a half. |

^ I have a hard time believing that the Kings are going to come back from the brink, again, against the Sharks. AGAIN.

The Kane goal reminded me of the **** that Larry Bird would do. Bird once used the backboard to pass to himself. It seemed on that goal that Kane figured he couldn't score so he'd just float the puck in to get Elliot out of position and then he could swoop around the net and backhand it into an empty net. It just looked really premeditated the more I watched it.
