I would have been watching, but the Blue Jays' eleven-game winning streak was on the line. Sounded like a thriller, though.

Chicago is my favourite team after the Leafs.

Actually, Tampa was pretty much done from game 5 on. We all knew it. Game 6 was more of a formality than anything, so it wasn't really a thriller per se, but still, it's always a majestic event when your home team wins it all. The neighborhoods sounded like a war zone last night. Ok, more of a war zone than usual.

I thought that was an awful final. Reminded me of a Rangers/Capitals series (not so much this year's playoffs, but from the 2009-2013 period. Close games, but it was like watching paint dry a lot of the time.

Congrats to the Hawks though. If you don't consider that a dynasty, I don't know what to say. Third time's the charm for Keith. That was the most deserved Conn Smythe in a while. He could easily have gotten it in his other 2 runs as well.

Definite Dynasty. Congrats Plank!

I don't know, Crawford could have easily taken it too. He had some inhuman saves when they tried to rally. As far as dynasty, that's all I've been hearing since last night, so it's a thing.

Congrats to Chicago they really dominated the series near the end. Keith was an excellent pick considering he was on the ice the whole damn series and playoffs. I agree it was a rather boring final. I was expecting alot more end to end action considering both are powerhouse offenses.

What Keith did just defies logic though. Not that Chicago had a deep blueline outside of the top 4 before, but when Rozsival went down in that last game vs. the Wild, the Hawks legitimately ran with 4 guys the rest of the way, with Q handling all the "replacements" with kid gloves every time he put them out on the ice. And Keith somehow still managed to log 5 full minutes of ice time more than anyone else in that top 4. Those numbers are staggering enough, but he absolutely dominated in those minutes as well. Believe me, people are going to look back at this performance as one of the best ever.

Credit to Hjalmarsson, Oduya and Seabrook as well of course, but Keith was just legendary.

Funny, all I can think about with this statement is that I was on that blue line watching Rush on Friday.
