Yeah, I've seen my fair share of OHL games. I've always been obsessed with the development of players as prospects, especially in hockey, so I love seeing all that potential first hand. Pretty much any team in the CHL you see, they're going to have at least a couple players worth looking at. Must have been nice for you to see Ryan Murray the last few years. It's a shame he got injured and didn't get a chance to make the Blue Jackets.

Chicago is ridiculous right now. There really isn't any part of their game where they're lagging. I don't think Crawford or Emery can keep this up, but they might not need them to to win the Cup. Hossa keeps getting better with age. I remember him back in Ottawa and Atlanta, and, while he was putting up big numbers, he wasn't quite the defensive force that he is today. I think you have to consider him the best two-way winger in the game today. I still like St. Louis out of the West, but you can't really argue against Chicago right now.

My Bruins have been steady as anything so far, and are showing a lot of posie in close games again. The offense has looked mediocre at times (despite being top 5 in goals per game again), but the defense has been steady as anything. It's reassuring to know that this team can play so much better, and they're still 12-2-2. Hamilton has been such a pleasant surprise. He's been as steady as a rock.

Used to watch Cam Neeley with the Portland Winterhawks. They even won the Memorial Cup in '83, IIRC

I used to watch when Corey Perry played for London. I enjoy it but I am usually only an avid watcher of NHL games. Cam Neely was a beast though, I always loved watching him and Bourque.

Another former Portland Wimterhawk that did very well in the NHL was Adam Deadmarsh, he even hoisted the cup with the Avalanche

That was the era I was most locked in on hockey. I know Deadmarsh both from his stint with Colorado and the Kings. He was a great forward too bad the concussions ended his career early. He was actually one of the people who took part in a diversity campaign with Willie O'ree at the Pond in Anaheim. Got to meet both of them, hes a community activist at the highest level also along with his wife at the time.

Its been ages since I posted here..But went to take a gander today. Happy to see one of my old threads is still relevant..whether its music related or not. My Canucks are slumping as of late, but still managing to get one point most nights. Gotta get healthy.

This thread won't ever die, we've got so many hockey fans here!

My cousin in Vancouver is a huge Canucks fan, so I always hear about how they're holding up through Facebook and stuff
