At least Perry stayed gritty through his drought...Getzlaf straight up fell of the face of the earth during his.

The league announced new divisional and conference alignments for the 2013/14 season. Here's what it will look like...

I like the re-alignment with the exception that I would have Pittsburgh and Boston trade places.

I HATE the realignment just for the fact that it's unbalanced.

As a Habs fan, not liking the realignment at all. Detroit comes to our division and they're always competitive. Tampa Bay can go either way, so that's potentially 2 teams to make things very difficult for us.

Yea, the fact that its unbalanced is what bothers me. Thats just a strange thing to do. I dont see the urgency in moving Columbus to the East. Look how long Detroit dealt with being in the West. And not only that, but the Canucks...still travel more than any team in the league. Substantially.

Holy sh*t, the Penguins, in the midst of a 13 game winning streak, get Jarome Iginla from Calgary.

Jarome Iginla of Calgary Flames traded to Pittsburgh Penguins - ESPN

Thats a wild outcome last night. For about an hour and a half everyone thought he was a Bruin. Which left a sour taste in my mouth haha. Even sportsnet and TSN posted on it. But later on in the evening it came out that he was actually Pittsburgh bound which makes me happier. Iggy is a class act, and the only thing missing on his resume is a cup. What better place could he be? Gets to rekindle the chemistry that set up the Golden Goal in the 2010 Olympics. As well as join another former Olympic teammate, the also newly acquired Brenden Morrow.
