Sure the Bruins have great goaltending and defense, but they still need to score goals. See how it plays out, I don't see the Bruins coming out of the east this year. Repeats are pretty rare in the NHL.
I'm not to worried about offense. The Bruins have a history of struggling to get goals on "unknown" goalies. And they were tied for second in goals this season with the Flyers, as well as being top 5 in this category 3 of the last 4 years. They don't have the big-time scorers, but their depth is more or less unmatched. I mean they're still up 2-1 in the series despite their top 5 scorers this year combining for 1 total point. So much room to grow there.

Yeah, Pronger was a massive hit. A healthy Pronger is one of if not the best defenseman in the league (along with Chara and Weber).

Thats a good point, they're obviously in a good position to move on. Tonights game should be great, I think the ice is gonna open up a lil bit now that they have felt each other out, which could help out washington. I like to see new blood go through each year, nothing against boston. Johnny Bucyk is a phenomenal guy and the reason i rooted for them last year. Met him at a local area hotel and hes a very gracious guy and signed some pucks for me.

Pronger is still a beast. I would normally put Lidstrom in that category also but hes declining in a major way this year. Time for the new blood to take over.

Worst playoffs in recent memory. First round in the East was good, but other than that it's been pretty bad hockey, TBH.

Hoping the Devils pull it out, but I'll say Kings in 6.

I hope either team pulls it off in 4. Trap hockey is the most boring thing to watch.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I actually don't mind watching the Devils though. They aren't quite as conservative as the pre-lockout Devils.

If the Rangers or Coyotes made it though, I might have offed myself.

Finally something interesting is happening this playoffs. Really hoping the Devils embarrass the Kings here.

Yeah same here, at first I was kind of resigned to the Kings taking it in 4 and then when the Devils won game four I thought they were just delaying the inevitable, but now with two wins behind them I think they might have a shot. It'd be nice for Brodeur to retire with a Stanley Cup.

Kings in five or six, but I won't count out a seven game series.
